Could you specify which OS version have you downgraded to? I am having ringtone issue too and wanted to downgrade to another version. Previously I was using 4.6.

I have the same question...how do I hide the sent items? I remember there being an option in the older version.

Edit: I see the option to hide sent messages, but it doesnt seem to work.
