I believe AT&T (my carrier) is the only carrier that lets you buy a BB without a dataplan. As much as I would like to have one, I think that spending more on a phone data plan than I do on my home...

Yea I figured it was the phone communicating with the towers... it does it every once in a while, but also when I am getting a call coming in or a txt message, i'll hear the speakers buzz a second...
