I did and update on Friday, which appeared to crash my BB 8310. The only way to get it back was to remove the battery.

When use it, Vlingo seems to access the NET when I don't expect it to. e.g. edititng an SMS.

IMO, I like them both and you make just as many mistakes on the curves smaller keyboard as suretype makes when it gets confused.

Therefore, having a bigger screen wins :)

What are the known problems so far?

I'm using 4.5.0.37 on my Curve.

So far the only problem I can see is that sometimes I cannot click on a link in the browser (Is there a way to click using the keyboard?)

My Curve came supplied with a branded version of TelMaps. (Via Carphone Warehouse in the UK) It's pretty OK as a GPS navigator.

If I upgrade to 4.5, will I lose this software? It didn't come...

I bought an unlocked 8310 and I was able to access the internet BEFORE I had a BB data plan. I simply entered my carriers APN info, and I was away!

In the setup wizard, I have either the option to setup using a BES, or to skip email setup.
