You need at least 1.5.1, but I'd recommend the most recent version 1.5.3

Yes, it does.
It might not do it as elegantly...
Yes, it does.
It might not do it as elegantly as Telenav, but you do get turn-by-turn GPS navigation with Google Maps.
Same with BlackBerry Maps. (Personally, I like BBMaps better than Google Maps...
