We are migrating our 4000 + mail clients from GW v6.5 to MS Exchange V 7. and have to migrate (reinitialize) 400+ BlackBerry BES users during this process. :?

It appears that with our current BES patch level 4.1.3.18 for GroupWise, the BlackBerry Messaging Agent stops polling for new email messages after 49.7 days (no errors are reported) and polling will...

Both of our BlackBerry servers seem to be able to send email from the Bby devices, but nothing is reaching the devices since yesterday afternoon. Both servers are reporting contact with the devices...

Upgrade BBerry Manager on local PC?

We use the Bby Manager (not the Desktop Manager but the BES manager) locally to reduce overhead. I'd like to upgrade this from the 4.1.sp2 for GroupWise locally without upgrading the BES to SP4...

New stuff that was sent after the BES activation shows up, but none of the appointments that existed in the user's account at the time of activation came across (neither past nor future dates).

Same thing happening here

It happens for some users, some of the time. Then late at night during the "slow sync" process it resolves itself, sometimes.

I've tried all of the obvious stuff, to no avail. The auto-sig option doesn't exist in the email "Message Service" option that I use for my RoadRunner account. The BES account works fine.

Next step

Did you then go into the menu and select the specific folder that you wanted to see? If so, try a "reconcile now".

Keep in mind that you won't see anything that arrived in GW prior to setting up...

Edited line to include "Choose "Folder Redirection", then navigate to and select the specific GroupWise folder(s) that you want to sync with the BlackBerry."

I have created a spreadsheet that I update with each device addition, removal and all CAL adds. It calculates how many are remaining so I can watch it.

It seems that newer versions of either BES or handhealds are seeing this change. Pretty weird.

RIM does whatever it wants then might respond if we complain enough.
