One thing I have noticed more than anything is the battery life has improved a lot with the new update, especially when on standby.

I am having the same problem, but only with 64bit versions of Windows, 32Bit Version of Windows and Mac OSX seems fine. I would suspect its something to do with the 64Bit drivers for the Playbook.

Have you a data plan for the BlackBerry, you have to enter that URL in the browser of the BlackBerry itself, not from a PC.

The direction Apple was taking it, The Keyboard and the Battery Life sucked. But my biggest gripe was the bloatware that is iTunes, I hate that product.

Same as, Im glad RIM is keeping a control over things, the Google Play store is full of cr*p with only a few good apps on it, getting rid of my xoom in a bit as got the misses to goto a BlackBerry...

I don't know of a stylus for the Playbook but you can use your blackberry smartphone as a remote for it and type on the keyboard, or you can use the new Keyboard/Case that Rim as just brought...

Bridge is a free app, i didn't have to pay for it. DocsToGo Premium is also free on BB OS7 and Playbook OS2.

What was the last App you put on it, try to uninstall it. I put Drivesafe.ly on mine and it did that and ran the battery down mega quick. Uninstalled the app and the phone went back ok.

Found a program Wifi Inspector by Xirrus, Im a computer techie by trade and this works well for me, but it works in Windows Only, was after something that runs on my curve or playbook idealy.

Used evernote, apart from text you have to pay for it, I am attaching files and graphics to notes and it also intergrates well with Outlook/Visio/Word which is important for me.

Is Blackberry Maps installed?

You can check by going to Options -> Device -> Application Management. if not download it via App Store.

I do have a 9360 via O2 and its currently stuck on 7.0 due to O2 not realeased 7.1 as of yet. You are correct in that the 9300 can only go up to 6.0.
