Update OS and loose App keys

Every time I update OS, I loose passwords and PAID keys for applications.
Is there a way to avoid this.

3G hot spot

I emailed verizon about their 3G hot spot equipment, cost and connection for my laptop when mobile. Much to my supprise, they told me aout using my 9650 as a 3g Hotspot.

But I can't figue out...

Bluetooth requirments to sync

I am tring to setup bluetooth sync with blackberry desktop. Desktop program has bluetooth grayed out, but at same time my 9650 and pc are connected.

Must be something missing?

Left BB for Android and came back?

I now have an HTC incrediable, and are disappointed. Considering bold 9650.
My 8330 did what is was supposed to do well. The HTC doesn't.

Anyone else been down this path?

BIS polling period.

How often does the BIS poll external servers for email to push to my BB. I have several personal accounts, and wonder how often to expect new email (assuming someone wrote me!)

OK,

I did not mean to start a war!

I now understand push and pull email systems, and tried several apps for pull.

They work but slow down my BB. So I am going back and add other emails...

I mapped my left side key to keyboard lock. On press of the side key and all key functions lock. Have to use A the green call key at same time to unlock.

Micro SD card class?

Looking a amazon for MicroSD cards, they are almost all HDSC, but I also see class 2, class 4, class 6.

What are they refering to with class? What class(s) will work with 8330.

On a treo, the phone part had contacts for telephones numbers, and then anther set of contacts for email.

I am hopping the BB uses a single set of contacts for both!

How many sets of contacts? 1 for the phone and another for email? (old palm user here).

I'm sure I will have more questions, after it get my BB activated.
