So, I got my replacement screen in from CNN. It ooks its time, but arrived without issue.

It was packaged nicely with good protection. Not an overload of packing peanuts in a big box scenario...

So, on LCD backlight survival and water.

My wife had hers drop into a bucket of water and it sat there for who knows how long. I found it sitting there triggering the camer flash...

Web Messenger is free - and works with MSN.

I have it, and found I just dont use it. I use IM at work - so it (IM) is more of something I use on my workstation then my phone.

But it does work.
