I just got a new bold 9700 as my old one stopped working. Managed to backup everything a few months before but now when I connect the new device to the computer it doesn't recognise the new device :S...

I've tried opening it in safe mode so many times but it's just freezing at exactly the same place.. that means it's completely messed up right? Best thing to do would be just wipe the whole thing and...

I've done everything up to the point where it's trying to connect to the device.. and it's been there for a good 20 minutes now. Is there something wrong?
