Beta list means someone saw it on a log...

Beta list means someone saw it on a log somewhere. 5.0 for the 8220 was never released. Since it is not marketed and has hardly any support, I doubt we will ever see it.

Only later was it was it noted that they had an 8220.

The 8220 was not marketed well, and did not sell well.
With a small user base, RIM didn't have a lot of updates for it...
And now it's pretty much dead. I don't think anyone is selling it anymore.
