I just checked my 8530 from verizon and yes on the right side very bottom of the bb. You have to remove the battery cover to connect a strap.

No to all the above. Even when I click show all none of the icons I want don't show up. I've must of done something. I can access the these apps through my world with no problem, just no icons.

problems with ringtones & alerts

I save my ringtones & alerts to what I've downloaded to my cell. After about 5 - 10 minutes it changes on it's own. Call me crazy but I think my cell is :x.
