It really is sad that RIM has not modified Desktop Manager to work with Office 2010. They had to be the only people that didn't know it was coming out in June.

I installed 5.0.0.230 on my Tour and it began...

I installed 5.0.0.230 on my Tour and it began rebooting itself every few minutes. I was forced to down grade back to 4.7.1.40 to get it to stablize.

Any ideas on the cause and a fix?

Local Country Code is grayed out

In the Smart Dialing settings, the Local Country Code is set to the US and is grayed out and I am unable to change it. This is noramlly not an issue, but Smart Dialing does not work outside the US....

Cingular Update for 8700c

Does anyone have any ideas as to when Cingular will issue a software update for the 8700c? They are still on a version from November 2005 and the other carriers have all updated their software.

Verizon uses CDMA and Cingular uses GSM/GPRS...

Verizon uses CDMA and Cingular uses GSM/GPRS (which is based on TDMA). They are not compatable and there is no way I know of to make a Verizon phone work on Cingular's system.
