Also, make sure all Exchange Service packs match. You should have the same SP on Exchange 1, 2, and BES. They should all match.

Don't install Outlook on the same pc as Blackberry Manager. You probably have the wrong version of MAPI running. You need to have the same Mapi version on your Exchange box as on the Blackberry...

If you call RIM they will give you an SRP identifier, Key, and a 90 day license for testing purposes. That's what I use. You can reinstall it as many times as you want.

If your running server 2003 and Exchange 2003 tools, you don't have to do any of this. I tried it and it works, no problems with syncing calendar.

That's the problem. I personally don't see how you can make BES see users on two different exchange servers. The MAPI profile only gives you the option to point to a single Exchange server.
