Bumping this. I am afraid to wipe my contacts on the phone. If I cannot sync them from my desktop, then I will be stuck with no contacts on the phone. What am I missing here?

When I type "rset" in Contacts, it wants to wipe all contacts from my device. Is this the "slow sync" to which you are referring? :-o
