In Bolt you need to enable WiFI. Use: Menu > Wi-Fi > Enable. It will then only work with WiFi. Conversley if WiFi is enabled it won't communicate with 3G/EDGE. Mine works fine both ways....

OK I understand your point, but what difference does it make? There's a base for charging, it requires allot less finesse to charge the device than having to attach the USB each time......

For me the WSJ app gets the WSJ RSS feeds fine but asks for a WSJ subscription when I try to look at the full article. Since I don't have a subscription I gave up on the app. Am I missing something?

U'mmm... With BIS you can have up to 10 POP/IMAP accounts on your BB. None of them needs to be "xxxx@carrier.blackberry.com". You'll still have that account but you don't have to use it....

If you get any of the non BB data plans the phone will give you the dreaded "Data Connection refused" message. There is no way to use data on a BB without a BB provisioned data plan.
