8830 resets about once a day

My dad has a sprint 8830 and he is complaining that it resets once a day.

I checked it and there is enough memory.

os acting slow - can you tweak it out?

my 8900 has 133,673,063 free memory
and 22,637,940 used and it acts slow when checking ims etc
takes like 2 seconds?

I went into advanced and cleared all from the calender but that deleted all the dates in my phone..Good thing I didnt have...
