I always keep mine at 10%, so I guess I can't comment on my experience with that. Mine runs just fine thought. I'll up it to 100% for a while and let you know if I noticed a speed difference.

My BSE isn't sticky or tacky at all. It's slick and easy to get in and out of cases (as long as it fits! lol) I've had several BSE's on my devices and never had that issue.
