I have an 8830 on verizon.
friend has a pearl on cingular.
we are trying to connect via messenger. she can invite me to join, but when i accept she doesnt get it.
this works for me and other...

two locks?
okay, you want to use the 8830.
you pick it up, and press the pearl.
it tells you the handheld is locked and if you want to unlock.
you tell it to unlock it.
it now tells you the keypad...
