Once you are done, send the phone an MMS, this seemed to be required for the service to become active on the phone....

I would also try to do a wipe of the device prior to activating.

The 8900 is superior in every respect. The speed alone is worth the switch. The 8900 form factor is simply the best IMO. I think this BB does everything VERY well. Even the 3.2 MP camera is very good.

I take my finger and slightly lift the TOP part then slide the bottom out. Pretty simple actualy. You cannot push down on the latch of the bottom piece, but you CAN lift the top part.
