So it was actually creating one entry for the Google calendar then duplicating it in the BB calendar and placing that in the Google calendar as well?

All I knew was I was getting duplicate entries...

Hellsop is correct. After his post I went back and looked at my phone. It is in 'Automatic' mode, switching to 'Home Only' I lose signal and I assume it it looking for a native Alltel tower.

I called Alltel and played dumb and he tried to get it to work from his end, no dice.
I reverted back to 4.3 and all works well. Guess I'll have to wait for Alltel...
