Under options then browser congfiguration Change your emulation mode to Blackberry. I had the same problem and that fixed it.

OK, this may be a dumb question but...wouldn't it be fairly easy, (easy is probably not the best word) maybe this, it should be doable (sp?) to write some kind of simple app to initiate a gps session...
