Some businesses do not allow cameras on their premises. Covering the camera should enable some people to take their 8100s to work with them.

guess why that explains why the new blackberry 8800 doesn't have a cam.

I would love this, but what do you think of a battery door cover that has the rubberized material on it, making it matte, and easier to grip...? Am I the only one that thinks this would be cool? I have purchased many of your products for my blackberries and my Treo's, they are top quality and excellently priced. Thank you for all your hard work over there!

Will this be made with the same type of finger print attracting plastic finish like the OEM piece?

That's why I was stating the " Rubberized " back... it would not attract the fingerprints like the current finish does. I would pay more for this option.

There are many companies that don't allow their employees to carry camera phones on the premises. Many courtrooms don't either. This is why some manufacturers actually make non-camera models of their phones. Our door would simply make the phone look as though it had no camera.
