What SW version needs to be on my handsets?

We will be activating our Blackberry 7250s on the corporate BES 4.1 server next friday. My question is what is the handset requirements for this to work? We don't use the blackberry desktop software for the most part either. Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

For basic functionality any version BES should work with any version handheld.

handsets need to be 4.0 or later to support enterprise activation (uncradled activation OTA), some of the other functionality of BES 4.1 is only supported in a 4.1 code based handheld (improved attachment viewing for example) .

If I was flashing them then I'd flash them to the latest h/h code available from your carier for that model.

4.1 will also allow you get EVDO data on them if you're in a metro area, so that's another reason to upgrade if they're still at 4.0.
