So it has a few new today themes... which I thought we had with the rogers update also? How about other issues like the green light issue? Anyone had time to test yet? -S |
I never had the green light issue. So I don't know if it is "fixed".
|
thanks for the INFO downloading it now!!! Nice to see people are on top of this when I'm not! I will report what I find through out the day. I'm still waiting on T-mobiles eng... to fix my provisioning so still dont have emails yet!
Oh ya download works great on Firefox |
Hmm.. so I haven't done any updates but its just about the end of my 14 day trial period and I'm wondering;
1) this another Rogers update? 2) what exactly does this update address? There any release notes with these? |
Status Indicator and Scroll ball FIXED COMPLETELY!!!
Now after updating...when a call comes in and the scroll ball moves...the phone still ring to ingnore you must scroll wheel down and click to disable the ringtone. The status indicator does not stay on any longer when you make or recieve calls. SWEEET!!!

No its plays straight through no more restarting the ringtone and you can press the mute button to mute it but not send it to voicemail or scroll to ignore and click on it to send it to voicemail
|
Do we need to delete the vendor.xml file like on the Rogers update?
|
Close the manager
install the update Locate and delete the vendor.xml file restart manager |
What is this?
|
A new handheld software update
|
I take it this fixes the glitch whereby if you touched the pearl knob during an incoming call the ringing would stop, or if you accidently touched it then incoming calls wouldn't ring? Clue me in to what exactly this fixed and who fixed it. Thanks.
|
Yes you are correct. When a call comes in the trackball does not silence it just by moving it. You must move the ball to ignore and then click on it to mute it...or press the end key, or press the mute key and it will mute the ringtone. It also does not restart the ringtone as in the previous update (Rogers). The status light indicator does not continuouly stay on either as it does after a call in the rogers update. As far as who fixed it...I would imagine Blackberry did.
