User name spelled wrong
 

I created a user on my server with his name misspelled. Before I knew this I setup him in the BES with the wrong spelling. I've since gotten the correct spelling and have made the changes in Exchange and Active Directory. When he sends email from his Outlook, it shows correctly. When he sends anything from his Blackberry, it shows the wrong spelling. I look in my BES and it shows the right spelling there.

Can anyone help me?

If you have more than one server attached to a SQL database, try moving him from one server to anoher. This will go through the activation process again re-activating him on the new server which should update the name.

I only have one BES. I tried removing and adding him back on the same server, but it didn't help.

Have you tried removing the user from the bes and then readding him?

when you do remove him make sure you clear all the blackberry stats.. There is hidden information stored in exchange that could be causing the problem.
