Problem loading apps after upgrade.

Hi everyone.

I'm new to the Blackberry's but I'm liking it so far. I just got one about a week ago but it was faulty and had to be replaced. I just got my new one from T-Mo today, it's a 7290. Problem I'm having is I'm trying to install BBlight and when I go to the application loader I get this a windows that says that the apps on my BB are newer than the ones in my desktop software. I get two options, one to leave the software as is or to downgrade to the old software. But the leave it as is has the "next" button greyed out, so I can either downgrade or not add anything. So I went to the BB site and got the latest 4.1 update. I got that all installed and I still get the same error. Any ideas? My BB is v4.0.2.69

Thanks for any help in advance.

Did you remove the vendor file from your PC? (Vendor.xml)

No, just installed the software. I'm still new to this not to mention it's payed for by the company and I'm on the company pc. I just find is completely stupid that there's no option to have the black light turn on automatically.

Well search for and remove the vendor file and reconnect the BB to the PC and it should prompt you to upgrade.

Find an utility called BBLight and it should help you.

didn't do anything, didn't even notice it was missing, still gives me the same prob. Thanks for the try though. Any other ideas?

You can try loading BBLight via OTA, point your browser to http://blackberrytools.sourceforge.net/OverTheAir/
