I like it better than .402 No catch up when I let the device idle and then want to do something. I noticed on .402 I had a few more spinning clocks than any other OS to date.

Especially when unlocking the device. No problems from this build. Been using it for a few days. I can't comment on battery or anything, but seems to give me less bugs overall.

Hmm - I am running .402 and observe the same things you are.
Will have to put this one on and try it out.

If you plan on downgrading from .402, don't forget to strip the IT policy first.

Apparently, after you install .402, you have an enabled IT policy (I suspect from the leak itself)

I am having some issues with this release. I have an IT Policy anyway.
I am going to resettofactory and see if that will help :-(

interesting that this one was released after .402 which actually makes it older then the current available os. that usually doesn't happen. must be magical lol. i'm still on .342 cause i hated .402. maybe i'll give this a spin. Thanx Zombieberry.

Well, I cant get Enterprise IM (code phrase for Office Communicator/Lync) to work on this version. Odd.

.402 is a leaked version. 391 is official. I suspect we will never see .402 officially. It is very buggy...I am about to ditch it and downgrade.

Finally!! Telus and Bell have had 7.1 for a month or so.
Glad I did not try .402.
I had .342 but downgraded to .284 (T-Mobile) when I could not play WMA files, thinking that .342 which is official in Europe had some hang up with Microsoft and dropped the codec for WMA on that os. However, still cannot play WMA files on .284. Has RIM dropped support for WMA? These played fine on my 9800 with os 6. Cannot recall if WMA worked on 7.0.
Will download .391 as being official with my home carrier, Rogers. Will be easier to get support from them if I have an issue like playing WMA.

Did you eventually get it working? I had a few problems trying to install VisionFM (an Enterprise Facility Management app)

Re: 7.1 Official Rogers 9900

Yes; it was very odd.

Long answer: The app wouldn't start.
So I did a resettofactory and restored just my messages. App wouldn't start.
Wiped again, put .402 on, couldn't find the app. It was in a hidden folder. Oh.

Downgraded again to this version, resettofactory with NO restore at all (just via BES EA), found the app and it took about 5 minutes to actually start. Never seen that before.

Short answer: yes.

I had to wipe mine too. It would just hang. Then I just asked our IT to push it to my phone. That app is buggy at the best of times.
