email issues
We have numerous customers using BlackBerry phones with only a few not being able to send or receive. All settings have been checked and rechecked. Even wiped the phones and started over. Don't understand why some works and other don't. Nothing wrong with email accounts, they can send and receive through IPhone, Droids and Outlook on desktop. Had customers take phones to service providers and they were no help.

Are they connecting to a BES Server?
If so, make sure the users in question have a BES Data Plan(it's required for the BES Server). |

It's just a basic IMAP setup.

I assumed you check the data signal on the phones and verified they can surf the internet ok. |

yes, they can surf the web. we even set up account on a test phone. there are no errors messages except message failed. and no bounce backs when sent to phone
