Re: buying music
Anyone using a curve in US can confirm that amazon MP3 works on their device, my carrier is trying to tell me that it work because of my device

Re: buying music
If you bought a BlackBerry for multimedia stuff like music, you made a bad choice. Yeah, BlackBerrys *can* play music, but it's not a robust experience. I still use an iPod for music.

Re: buying music
I believe OP is asking about the app.
(I don't use it. I see it in app world. I have no reason to believe it won't work, at least for me if I tried it.) Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile |

but my generation sucks because, everything we want, and we want a lots of thing, we want it NOW lol, and with an ipod touch, you can not get songs unless you are connected to wifi hehe Quote:
how is that possible? i might call my carrier tomorrow |
Re: buying music
Are you in Canada or in the US? Your profile indicates that you are are in Canada.

Re: buying music
yes, my carrier said : "amazon MP3 doesnt work with your device"
i thought amazon MP3 was not available in canada, thats why i needed someone from US or elsewhere to tell me: "frank, that is bullcrap, i have the curve 9300 and i have amazon MP3 installed on it, and its working great" i need that to prove them wrong. |
Re: buying music
Frank,
I'm pretty sure the problem isn't technical but legal. Same as how Canada can't use Pandora, Amazon MP3 most likely doesn't follow our music licensing rules so isn't allowed to be put on our phones. I wouldn't bet on this changing any time soon. |
Re: buying music
Yeah, that's the point. If you are in Canada, it likely doesn't work due to licensing agreements.
Has nothing to do with the device. |
Re: buying music
ok thats all i needed to know, thank you all!
on a side note: Quote:
digital music isnt digital music? Francois |
Re: buying music
Interface, mostly. There's little you can do other than play the music. Perhaps this will improve with OS7.
T'es quebecois? |

My music experience has been very different when using either an iPod or my BlackBerry. And if you're saying "digital music is digital music" I guess you've never listened to a CD in a Krell player vs an AIWA player.;-) |

i have a NAD player with KEF speakers at the moment, and honestly, i cannot tell the difference between that and cheaper stuff!! |
Re: buying music
High-end gear paired with high-end speakers will make a noticeable difference with stuff like classical music. Especially if it's recorded at a high bitrate.

Re: buying music
