BES v4.0 reinstall on new server, need guide
 

Hi everybody,

I need some expert help for a BES v4.0 resintall.

Details :

I have a BES server v4.0 running on a old Windows 2003 server, with 10 users running into to the BES server. My exchange server is 2003.

I want to get rid of my old server, so i want to reinstall same version of BES onto a new 2003 server.

Is anybody expert enough to guide me through the all steps to follow for reinstalling the BES server and migrate all keys and users ?

I will appreciate any help

BES 4.0 is no longer supported by RIM. It's extremely old and its life ended a while ago.

If I may offer a better suggestion... install BES Express 5.0.2 (it's free) on your new Windows 2003 server and use the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter to move your users over to the new BES.

All of the documentation for this type of migration is on RIM's website in the support section.

You'll then be current, at no cost to you.
