blackberry 8520 not detacting ad-hoc wifi connection from laptop
 

My laptop is connected to cable internet, and by creating an ad-hoc connection, you actually can share wi-fi access to wireless devices WITHOUT a router. in short, my laptop also serves as the router.

Now, my iPhone and Nokia have no problems detecting the wifi signal from my laptop and I'm able to connect to the internet on the iPhone and Nokia. However, my BB 8520 can't detect the wifi signal at all. :-o:-o:?

Do i need to make any changes to my BB or laptop to make this work? my mobile can detect other wifi connection but not this one. I have tried playing around with my BB, no success.

If BB:bb: does not support an ad-hoc connection, is there some other way to use laptop internet on BB via wifi and without router??????
