Updating to 4.5 problem

I was updating my 8310 at 1am this morrning and fell asleep while it was working when I awoke it told me that there had been a problem while it was updating, something I think about my computer going into sleep mode while it was working so it was unable put all of my data back on the phone. When I turned the phone on it seemed like most of my data was there but it was not on the screen like it was before, also it now says I have no memory left. I looked all over my computer to find the backup it said that it made but have so far been unable to find it. Do I need to do a fresh install of 4.5? If so will I lose all my data? Any help would be great, thanks!

Search your entire C drive for *.ipd.

And you think that will fix the problem?

If I can get all the data I want off of my BB then do you think that I could just do a fresh install of 4.5? The only .ipd file I am finding is a backup that I made this morning.

Also when I have it plugged into my computer it keeps connecting and disconnecting.

During one if the reconnects, run loader.exe to catch the BlackBerry and road the os.

I took the battery out and restarted it now it won't restart. It just sits there loading.

Ok, I got it started again and my memory is back. So all that I am missing is the stuff that didn't get sent back over with the install.

Restore the that .ipd you found. It will have all your old hand held data. Using the backup/restore feature in desktop manager.
