Help: Problem with Message Preview on BB 8220 Pearl Flip
 

This weekend, my Blackberry shut down for no apparent reason. It wasn't scheduled to shut down at that time and the battery was fully charged. It wouldn't restart until I took out the battery and put it back in.

Since then, I've been having a few problems. The most notable problem is that my front screen no longer previews messages when I receive them. When I used to receive a message, it would preview it on the front screen and if I opened it shortly thereafter, it would automatically open that message. Now, it's not doing either.

The option "Display Message Preview" is set to "Yes" in the "External Notifications" portion of settings. Any help would be appreciated.
