Data source priority?
 

Can anyone tell me if there is a priority protocol when the Bold is presented with both a Mobile Network and a Wi-Fi connection, and both connections are enabled and functioning?

It depends on the app that you are using. By default, the browser and email will use WiFi if available. Different 3rd party apps will do different things.
