8310 Loses Minutes Each Day

Help. My 8310 Seems To Lose 4-5 Min Each Day. I Update The Time And It Does It Again. I Have Tried Setting On Network And Bb, And Upon Recommendation, Have Removed And Replaced The Battery. Still Losing Time.

Any Ideas?

How do you know you are losing time, Ken? (You are comparing against..?)

If you use Desktop Manager (DM) there is a setting to sync your BB's internal clock with that of your PC. (In my DM version: double click Synchronize applet > select Synchronize tab > Update device's date and time entry.) This setting may throw off your BB's time upon syncing.

BB losing time

Good question. I never sync the computer time with my BB. I do compare the TIME with the NETWORK TIME under OPTIONS > DATE/TIME. Again, I lose 4 to 5 minutes each day. Very weird! Have checked on other forums and tried to remove the batttery and that didn't work. Last suggestion was to take it back to the ATT store and ask them.

Any ideas? Thanks!
