8330 via usb tethering on mac os x 10.5 help?

Have been using 8830 tethering to mac osx 10.5 via usb on verizon service. I use vzconnect and it works with usb and bluetooth.

I now have an 8330 and vzconnect doesnt work via usb only bluetooth.
The problem is bluetooth is really slow.

anyone know how to get around this problem by either getting USB to work or speeding up bluetooth.

Can't get VZAccess Manager to detect Curve

How were you able to get VZAM to recognize the Curve via Bluetooth? I can't get the Mac (OS X 10.5) to connect via the Curve using any method. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've gotten it to work via Parallels

Ahh... I see. If you do that, do you have any connectivity on the Mac side, or just the PC side?
