Loading as we speak...
Seems fairly snappy and loaded quickly. First thing I see is the status bar now displays the network when on UMA (even when network is turned off and only WiFi is on). I never had any issues with UMA before but maybe the WiFi works better. I have 2 routers to handle the whole house and UMA. In the past the phone isn't quick to move to the stronger signal. |

is this a multilanguage build ?

Re: Leaked OS 6.0.0.576 for the BlackBerry Bold 9700
Another thing I've noticed is the LinkedIn app starts without any network error message. I don't know if anyone else had this problem but it has cleared up on my 9700 with this release.
Free memory showing is 67,497,948 bytes but I never paid much attention previously. Also, the WiFi switching between my routers seems more robust whereas before the unit didn't pick up the stronger signal and you had to manually switch routers via turning WiFi off/on. So far, this is my fav OS6 release. |

[QUOTE=stevew;1722726]At least he found it...what have you contributed here except your dissatisfaction?
Do a search. I'll be waiting for your apology. |

I posted 6.0.0.526 for the 9700 forum about a month ago. Even though it was an official release and the first post of it in Blackberry Forums, the mod incorrectly shut down the thread because he said he remembered it being posted elsewhere. I searched. He was wrong. Maybe the reason this site gets so little traffic is all this heavy handed crap. I guess I'll just stick to Crackberry forums, where 6.0.0.576 was posted first anyway. I also note that some folks there were kind enough to post that release on other servers. |
Re: Leaked OS 6.0.0.576 for the BlackBerry Bold 9700
Another os update already? I just DL'd .546! ;) Gonna give this one a try, because I too tend to have certain wi-fi issues within my home. Hopefully this is what my berry needs.
Nice find Pow. |

Re: Leaked OS 6.0.0.576 for the BlackBerry Bold 9700

Code:
hxxp: dash dash maxiluke dot cyberleech dot in/0x14/9700M_PBr6.0.0_rel2554_PL6.6.0.216_A6.0.0.576_rroyy.exe |

Re: Leaked OS 6.0.0.576 for the BlackBerry Bold 9700
wow ?
(the above download link is not a download service, nagging you with ads. therefore to stop web crawlers i thought it was better to make it a little bit harder to read) |
Re: Leaked OS 6.0.0.576 for the BlackBerry Bold 9700
Well intentioned, but hxxp: dash dash will do nothing but confuse people.

Re: Leaked OS 6.0.0.576 for the BlackBerry Bold 9700
Well, OK... back to the OS release!
After a couple days, I don't think the WiFi handoff is any better. Standing in front of one router and the phone doesn't want to give up the signal from the last used router which is now showing only 1 bar of signal. Too be fair, the phone still rocks with UMA even with 1 bar showing. Also, the OS is still acting really snappy (I don't usually turn off the phone or do battery pulls unless I need to). |

Re: Leaked OS 6.0.0.576 for the BlackBerry Bold 9700
works well for me.i would have the courage to say best leaked.os release so far.i would say.i couldn't see a memory leak either.only thing, which doesn't bother me at all, each time i try to use quickpull 5 to reboot it keep telling me that it has to download quickpull rebooter in order the reboot the bb, even though i don't remember to delete this app never ever.
|
Re: Leaked OS 6.0.0.576 for the BlackBerry Bold 9700
What does quickpull 5 do? Anything more to be had than left-alt + right-shift + del?
|
Re: Leaked OS 6.0.0.576 for the BlackBerry Bold 9700
Not really - same as doing the ctl-alt-delete 2X...or a battery pull.
