Thread should be moved to the Linux Users Corner...
|
is there a way i can move it to there I did not realize there was a separate discussion for linux ...

Only the mods can, unfortunately. In the mean time, check out the Linux Users forum - lots of people doing Linux connectivity.

RE: 9530 Storm - Verizon Wireless - Tethered Connection - Ubuntu
Hey,
I wrote a tutorial for this a while back here. It was for a debian derivative called Elive. But it should function the same for ubuntu with minor updates or changes. I have moved over to Fedora 11 now and might re-write the turotial for this distro soon. Let me know if you run into any problems. 8-) |
Thanks a lot I will be sure to check it out.
|
I think I have almost got it to work .....thanks so much for the Post -- the only downside is that it looks like I will needing to be connected via bluetooth, much slower connection ..oh well much better than nothing!
|
SocialBlackberry, you ever get the tether working for Ubuntu?
