Blackberry 7730 will not turn on
 

Hello, I have an older 7730 BB here set up on tMobile network.

The battery has a little white square on it with a red line in it.

I removed the back and noticed that the two white 7730 stickers on the inside of the case are still white with no red lines.

The phone is in OK shape and I have both the wall charger and the usb dock. I cannot get the power to come on no matter what.

Do you think it is the battery (due to the red stripe on the battery)? It does look like the original battery too.

I wouldn't mind buying a new battery if I can get one cheap enough.

Is this phone even worth messing with? Will it work with a modern t-mobile sim?

Don't get a cheap knock off battery. If you really want to use the device, then at least get a good battery.

You will get EDGE only so no real speed. Personal opinion, get a newer device.
