AT&T BB choices

I currently have an 8900 and I am pretty happy with it. I went to my local AT&T store, they had a torch and a curve, neither I was impressed with. Any ideas what coming next? I will not upgrade my device as long as these are my choices. I really want OS 6.
Thanks in advance
Ralph

Check out our Rumors section. There are several new BBs on the way, but which carriers will have then and when hasn't been released, AFAIK.

There really is no clear successor to the Curve 8900. I had the understanding that it had come to an evolutionary dead end. If you want premium hardware (camera flash, best battery life, charging pins), you go Bold. If you want rugged and cheap, you go Curve.

What's your beef with the Torch? I had an 8900. Best Curve out there. But, the Torch is a beast, and it's best to have a touch screen with OS 6. Just sayin'.

I thought AT&T had the Curve 9300 now - also known as the Curve 3G and can run OS 6. And had it since last October (which was way before this thread started - and I know I'm coming in a bit late).

Besides the Torch, which I think is great, they also have the Pearl 3G (9100). The old Bold 9700 is still available online. They never did get the updated Bold 9780.
