*Calendar dates older than 7 days deleted?

After I disconnect my Curve from my Mac (via USB) from syncing my calendars, I notice that both of the calendars' (Mac and BlackBerry) dates older than 7 days are deleted.
I had this problem along with the older calendar issue (reminders won't "remind"), but I downloaded an os update and resolved that problem.
I still am having this problem. Anyone recognize this issue?

Are you on BES or do you use Desktop Manager to synch your calendar. If you check the calendar synch options it should give you the choice to keep for 30, 60 days or Forever. If you use BES there should be an option on the phone. Calendar press Menu>Options it should be there.

thanks thatzmister2u!!!

I apparently had this setting set, but some where about 3 months ago when I upgraded my os I suppose...I started having all of my events deleted off of my calendar...I like to keep them on there so I can say where I was and when.

This was the problem and you showed me how to fix it...such and annoying thing...thanks thanks thanks!

I am having a similar problem but mine is worse. Desktop Manager will not allow me to even access the settings to change them. When my Curve is connected and Synchronize is highlighted, if I click on Options I only have options for Connection Settings or Data Folder Settings. There is nothing to take me to the Calendar sync options.

I originally had DM installed for my Pearl but when I got my Curve, I installed the version of DM that came on that CD. Now I have the calendar sync issue along with a problem with Media Manager...it will not open, it only gives me an error message.
