Color me impressed! I loaded the golden master (basically the release version) to my iPhone 4 last night, and so far, this OS appears to be exactly what Apple needed. It takes the Android notification style and takes it to a new level, which is proving to be very useful to me as this device is now being used for both work and personal uses. I was already quite satisfied with iOS 4.3.5, but this one makes my usage experience that much better. I still have a lot of love for Android and BB, but this device and OS are hard to beat.

I played with it on an iPhone 4 the other day... A friend had loaded up the GM...

It's has some nice add on features from what I could tell in the brief time I played with it but I'm still not diggin iOS.....

I am really digging the WiFi sync feature as well. It's not as fast as over the cable, but if I just add one album to my library it is very handy to not have to plug in.

I'm looking forward to downloading this when it's released in a couple of days. Looks to have some nifty new features.

I'm getting an iPhone 4s for my son as a test case. He really wants it and if it's as good as it looks on paper I'll be getting one for myself. I'm a dedicated Mac user at home so an iPhone is a no-brainer. Additionally, my wife in on AT&T with an iPhone 3GS while the rest of us are on a family plan with Sprint. She'll be coming aboard with a 4s and ditching AT&T.

It's pretty darn great on my iPad. iMessage is excellent and the overall performance of my iPad seems smoother. The WSJ app could not be reloaded because they haven't updated it to work with OS5, but that's a minor annoyance. Angry Birds works!

I've been using it for several days now and I love it! The battery is even better than 4.3.5 was!

The LED blink feature is under Settings > General > Accessibility. :)

I have T-Mobile and Verizon.. Probably dump VZW if I get the 4S on AT&T....

Both are contract free so I can axe either but my son wants to stay on T-Mo with his Android...

Yes... 2 pre-orders from yesterday that were not picked up... Called right when they opened and she said she would hold one of them for me....

I went with Sprint though...

Got LUCKY I guess.... Woohoo!!!
