8520 is sending and receiving data

Hi guys! Maybe it was asked before, I searched but found nothing helpful. My Blackberry Curve 8520 sends/receives data every 30 minutes, and the amount of data is always around 50 kb. Even at night every 30 minutes. The only way to stop this is to switch data transfers off.
I thought that it is some kind of software that updates its own information [ weather, facebook etc.] - uninstalled all programs that could do that, but nothing helps, so what could it be? Thanks!

It's a BlackBerry... that's what they do.
They are in constant communication with the BlackBerry network... even when you're not touching it.

Sending receiving data on a constant basis is an effect of a BlackBerry data plan that you cannot change, particularly if you have set up an email address, or BBM. The push system that gives you instant email, and BBM read/delivered reciepts is always active.

That's right, but I don't have BIS nor BES, so I have only my carrier's data plan which allows me to browse internet. I don't have any integrated email programs or anything else.

That's actually worse for you. Your device is going to be constantly looking for a connection to the BlackBerry network. The device itself will keep trying to connect and will use carrier data each time it tries.
