No sound.

All the sounds on my BBZ10 have vanished. Media, phonecalls, notification alerts, alarm, nothing is working. Please help. The setting is saved to normal. I have tried a reboot and battery pull, nothing helps. Very distressed.

Oh boy. Escorts with his immediate OS update.

ipsitab - was the phone recently dropped of did it get wet? Is it in a case of any kind?

Escorts - TRY and troubleshoot before suggesting an OS update.

Dear,

Please use JL_commender to wipe you HHP and reinstal it.

Incorrect. Not only is this the wrong advice for this situation, JL_Cmder doesn't work on BB10 devices.

Everyone loves to wipe out devices.
Even using tools that don't work on BB10 devices.

Wow.

Re: No sound.

i dropped my z10 and it hit the floor and bounced, encountered the same problem

what solved it was right below the battery contacts, i applied pressure by just holding it between thumb and forefinger

it started working again

*note* i also tried a rest, reinstalling the OS etc but it didn't work
