BB won't allow a new contact to be inserted-wont synch with Desktop

My Tour used to work well with 6K of contacts
Now the contact list is empty and wont allow me to insert a contact and wont allow me to synch contact list with Desktop

Go to Options / Status and see how much free memory you have.

Are you on BES or BIS?

You have to be on one or the other. Is your device through your employer? Is it connected to an Exchange Server?

If you are on Verizon and are not connected to a BIS, then you MUST be on a BIS.

I had to reinstall DtM to get it to see my device.
