Remote Desktop THROUGH BlackBerry?
Hello!
I have been using the BlackBerry Enterprise Solution for several years and have long been looking for a certain application. Maybe someone has seen something that could offer the following: The Idea is to attach the BlackBerry to a Desktop PC and establish a Connection to a Server in the companies Intranet. I need to establish a Remote Desktop Connection for some tasks. RDP Clients that run on the device only offer very limited handling. I was hoping for a piece of software that works like a proxy on the device, simply routing all TCP traffic from the Desktop PC to the Intranet. Has anyone heard of a solution like that? Kind regards, Kolja |
ive heard of software that doesnt do that particularly but does allow you to control AD and BES from windows mobile or BB based devices..

Thanks for your replies.
As far as I understood the RDM+ Website, this is a Remote Desktop Client that runs on the mobile Device and it needs a Serverapplication installed on the Windows Machine. What I want, is a Client Application that runs on a Desktop PC, connect the Blackberry via USB and connect to a Windows Machine that sits in a LAN with the BES. |
Did you manage to find such an application ?
rdmplus.com has a few of these ... |
you have
1. windows pc with client software... 2. a connected BB via USB... 3. use the bb connection to connect to 4. another windows machine that ... 5 is in a (different) lan with the BES? you want to control the BES from your Berry? or a machine connected to your berry? |
