8700g: Problems searching contacts (Entourage sync?)
 

I've a very odd problem on my new 8700g that I suspect is a Entourage Contacts sync problem.

After using PocketMac to sync all my iBook Entourage data onto the 8700, I find that I can only search for contacts that have been created by me on the Blackberry or have been recently created on Entourage. To locate old contacts, I must scroll down to find them, which is pretty painstaking.

Also, the new contacts that do appear in searches do not appear alphabetically in my list of contacts - rather when I scroll down, the new contacts appear at the bottom.

I've checked that data is in the correct fields, I've tried the "push" sync option (which wipes the BlackBerry and re-syncs) and I can't find anything that distinguishes the contacts that the search picks up from the ones that it does not. No one else in my office is having this problem. Can anyone help please?!

I am having the same problem with my 7130e after using Yahoo's contact sync with a windows PC. If I open an old contact and make a change, then I can find that contact again. It is very weird. Also, the old contacts are listed at the top and then the new (or newly changed) contacts are listed at the bottom. Help!
