I wish I could think of a fix that would help out here, but my own opinion is that it's probably time for a new phone. The 8100 Series (Pearl) was first available in 2006...if a new phone isn't possible maybe the downgrade isn't a bad idea...maybe someone else can think of something...

What did you do to upgrade - a new OS? If so which one?

Define slow. What are you comparing it with?

What is "m-card"?

Have you tried a battery pull?

And finally, please do not use "text speak". It is hard enough to solve the problem, and if we can read what you wrote, that makes it even harder.

Upgrade ma OS from 4.2 to 4.5, now slower. It takes up to 20min to open saved images, it keeps loading. I even removed the media card but stil thesame.
I don't know what battery pull is all about. Abeg. Thanks.

Most likely you are low on free memory. The Pearl 81xx doesn't have much to start with.

What's your File Free?

Re: help!!! bb too slow.

How many 3rd party apps do you have installed on the blackberry? I still use mine and it's running the newest version of the OS with no major lags. Unfortunately It'll hang if I'm trying to access text threads that are extremely long...my guess is that it's just the extreme lack of memory built into the device itself. They come out of the box with only 64 mb of memory available for the os and any 3rd party apps. I personally have about 20mb free and again, it tends to run with no major problems. Let me know if you have any questions.
