Can't charge battery
I plugged my phone in last night before going to bed and this morning the battery was still extremely low. I shut it down and took the battery out and reinserted it, turned it back on and tried to recharge again for several hours but it still want charge.
I had a new battery, so I put that one in, turned it on and tried to charge that one, but it want charge either. No matter how long I leave them plugged in, the battery indicator shows a discharged battery. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can try or do? Thanks |

How are you charging, wall charger or USB? Have you tried a different method and/or plug?
Have you let the battery run past 20% more than a few times? |

I think I have found the problem and it is the charger itself. I noticed the generic charger is showing the "flash" on the charger icon whereas the BB charger did not. I left it plugged in for a while and it charged the new battery right up. I then switched back to the old battery and it seems to be charging it up as well, so I think I've found my problem.
I'm sure the generic charger is fine, but I think I'll be buying another BB charger just to be safe. Thanks for your help. |

I'm glad you figured out the problem. That would've been my first guess from what you told us about even using a new battery in your phone that won't charge. It did at first glance seem like a faulty charger. You might have the best luck using the charger that was made for your phone.
