midlets and applications.. what works, what doesn't.. MDS

this thread is intended to be a list of applications/midlets for the Blackberry that I have tested/tried and my thoughts..

hopefulyl others can give them a try too and confirm or add to what i've posted here:

Mutelnet:

http://www.mutelnet.com/

Works fine, if you can get around the clunky interface.. but it works..

JMIRC:

http://jmirc.sourceforge.net/

Works great! Highly reccomended for MDS users.

MIDPSSH:

http://www.xk72.com/midpssh/

Partially works, developer is aware of problem and will fix for Blackberry by next release. Highly reccomended app to watch and keep trying..

Vidance (VNC midlet)

http://www.vidarholen.net/contents/vidance/

Works! Interface clunky, anyone figure out how to use it for anything useful?

WLIRC:

http://wirelessirc.sourceforge.net/

Works, but didn't try it much, JMIRC is a re-write of this app and appears better..

VIRCA:

http://www.vidarholen.net/contents/virca/

... with two clients above working, i didn't really bother with this one, but it does load and should run fine on any BB.

VNC2go:

http://www.freeutils.net/vnc2go/index.jsp

VNC midlet. It loads, but when i attempt to make connection i get disconnected. VIDANCE works where VNC2go does not, maybe it's just initial release jitters..

- Post any more you have found or tried, and let's hear your experiences.
